WHO WE ARE
DNA — Developing New Artists — is a next-generation performing arts platform built for dancers who want more than trophies.

We develop complete artists by combining elite dance training with acting, voice, and real-world performance skills — all within a structured, intentional environment designed for long-term growth.

We don’t chase hype.
We build artists.
WHO WE ARE FOR
DNA is for dancers ages 7–19 who are ready to grow into well-rounded performers — not just strong competitors.

It’s for artists who:

Train seriously and want more depth
Are curious about acting and voice, not just choreography
Want feedback that actually helps them improve
Care about growth, not just placement

DNA is for families who:

Value long-term development over short-term wins
Want clarity, structure, and transparency
Believe confidence and professionalism matter as much as medals

DNA is for studios who:

Want meaningful training experiences for their dancers
Value ethics, fairness, and education
Are looking to support students beyond a single weekend
WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
DNA is about training with purpose.
Every class, performance, and opportunity is designed to:

Build versatility across dance, acting, and voice
Develop confidence, adaptability, and professionalism
Provide clear feedback and real direction
Create pathways that extend beyond a single weekend
Competition exists — but development comes first.
Recognition matters — but growth matters more.
VISION | MISSION | VALUES
Our VISION is to create a training ecosystem where artists:

Understand who they are
Discover what they’re capable of
Leave with tools that actually translate to the industry
Train for the job — not the trophy.

DNA’s MISSION is to develop confident, versatile, and prepared performing artists through intentional training, honest feedback, and real opportunities for growth.
We exist to:

Provide structure in an industry that often prioritizes outcomes over development
Equip young artists with skills that translate beyond competition
Create an environment where growth is valued as much as achievement

DNA's VALUES are built on principles that protect artists, support families, and preserve integrity — even as we grow.

We prioritize artist development and long-term growth over short-term wins.
Progress matters more than placement.
Triple-threat training isn’t about doing more — it’s about becoming more.
We value expression, adaptability, and storytelling across all disciplines.
We prepare artists for real-world demands, with pathways beyond the weekend. Confidence is built through support, not fear.
Growth requires clarity. We believe in feedback that is direct, age-appropriate, and constructive — never performative or harmful.
Opportunities are earned, explained, and delivered. No favoritism. No politics. No pay-to-play advancement.
We treat artists as people first — not products. Parents, studios, and faculty are partners in the journey.

WEEKEND EXPERIENCE
A DNA weekend is not about cramming in as many classes as possible.
It’s about creating an experience that builds confidence, reveals potential, and provides real direction.

Every element of the weekend is intentionally designed — from the pacing of classes to the role of competition — so artists are challenged without being overwhelmed, and supported without being coddled.

This is training with structure.
This is development with purpose.

FRIDAY
FOUNDATION & DISCOVERY

Friday sets the tone for the entire weekend.
Artists are introduced to dance, acting, and voice in a low-pressure, supportive environment designed to:

Establish expectations
Build comfort across disciplines
Encourage curiosity and confidence
Create a shared starting point for all participants
Foundation Friday is not about testing or ranking.
It’s about exploration, engagement, and momentum — giving artists the space to step outside their comfort zone and settle into the DNA experience.

SATURDAY
TRAINING, APPLICATION & PERFORMANCE

Saturday is where intensity increases and learning deepens.
Artists move through a carefully balanced schedule that includes:

High-level dance training across commercially relevant styles
Acting and voice classes that strengthen presence, storytelling, and communication
A professionally run competition environment that allows artists to apply what they’ve learned on stage

This is where adaptability, focus, and professionalism come into play.
Saturday isn’t just about how artists perform —
it’s about how they learn, apply, and respond under pressure.
SUNDAY
RECOGNITION, FEEDBACK & DIRECTION

Sunday brings clarity.
Rather than ending the weekend with unanswered questions, DNA focuses on:

Meaningful recognition
Honest, age-appropriate feedback
Clear next steps for continued development
Opportunities, invitations, and acknowledgments are delivered intentionally — with context and purpose — so artists and families understand what was earned, why it matters, and what comes next.
A DNA weekend doesn’t end with hype.
It ends with direction.
